Full Circle Woman: The Luteal Phase
Updated: Jan 24, 2021
The luteal phase begins when your body has detected you are not pregnant after ovulation. Hormone levels begin a steady decline as you approach your period. This is the inner autumn of the cycle and comparable to the waning moon. It is a time when you may feel the need to withdraw and rest growing stronger, if this is the case, it's helpful to respond as it will prevent a difficult period to take care of yourself now. Just like in autumn, it's a time where clearing, moving on and letting go allow us to access the power of this time. The luteal phase offers us a time to bring completion to unfinished work, become detail oriented and cut through illusion to get to the heart of the matter.
